Personal Information

Mikko Laine, M.Sc. (Tech.)

Short Bio

I am a researcher and project manager at Software Business Laboratory at Helsinki University of Technology. Currently I'm working in the Software Business Foundations project. I hold a M.Sc. (Tech.) in Industrial Engineering and Management from Helsinki University of Technology, in which I'm is also pursuing my Doctoral degree. My research interests include virtual communities, corporate and technology strategy and software business management. Prior to joining SBL, I have also gathered six years of work experience in the Finnish mobile industry in various positions, including software development, concept development and project management. In my free time I greatly enjoy going to the gym in addition to the consumption (and occasional creation) of arts, music, games and other entertainment in the conventional and contemporary media.
