Summary

Why is it recommended?

The book is actually not concerned with research in software business itself, it is rather a general guide on how to conduct and report ones own research. The ability to communicate research results in papers, articles and books to a general audience is sometimes hard to find among software people and managers.

This book tries to show how good research can be structured and presented to an audience in a way that is easy to understand and exciting to read.

It is a good read for everyone who faces the task of writing his or her first thesis or other publication, be it in software business, engineering or management.
